Look at the top of the 67 logo. There is a small, slightly crooked crown. People ask about it more than anything else on the site.
The obvious reading
67 is the king of memes. Word of the Year, a South Park episode, a Google Easter egg, every classroom on Earth. If a number has ever earned a crown, this one has.
The real reading
The crown is crooked on purpose, and it is drawn like a paper crown from a fast-food restaurant. It is a crown for a kingdom that does not exist, on a number that means nothing. It is the meme laughing at its own success.
Where it shows up
- Above the 67 in the logo.
- On the mascot's head, as a hat.
- On the back of his hoodie and the sole of his shoes.
- Next to the flag of the country in first place on the leaderboard.
- On every murale in the skate park where 67 Rush is set.
If you look for it, it is everywhere. If you do not, it disappears. That is also how the meme works.
Should you draw it?
Yes. The crown is the easiest part of the logo to reproduce: five points, a slight tilt. On a notebook, next to a 67 on a whiteboard, on the back of a hand. It has become the community's shorthand for "this one is ours".
