67 Rush is a runner with a single rule: be in the lane of every 67, and in no other lane when anything else arrives.

The rules

  • Signs with numbers come towards you down three lanes.
  • A 67 in your lane: you collect it. Points, combo up.
  • Any other number in your lane (66, 68, 76, 6, 7 and friends): you crash. One life gone, combo reset.
  • A 67 in another lane that you did not reach: a miss. No life lost, but your combo resets.
  • Three lives. When they are gone, the run ends.

The controls

  • Phone or tablet: tap the left third of the screen to move left, the right third to move right, the middle to stay. Swiping also works.
  • Keyboard: left and right arrows, or A and D. Space or up arrow makes the mascot hop (it does not change anything, it just looks good).
  • Mouse: click the lane you want.

The scoring

Every 67 is worth 67 points times your combo multiplier. The multiplier climbs by one for every 67 in a row, up to ten. So the tenth consecutive 67 is worth 670 points. A crash or a miss drops it back to one. In other words: the score is not about surviving, it is about not missing.

Speed

The road gets faster every few seconds and signs come more often. There is no level cap; the game keeps accelerating until you crash. Runs over a minute are good. Runs over two are leaderboard material.

First tips

  1. Look far, not near. Signs are readable long before they arrive. Decide your lane early.
  2. Stay in the middle when nothing is coming. From the middle lane every other lane is one move away.
  3. Missing is worse than crashing. Both reset the combo, but a crash also costs a life. That said, a 67 you cannot safely reach is a 67 you should let go.
  4. Turn the sound on. The collect sound changes pitch with your combo. You can play by ear.

After the run

Your best score is saved on the device. Enter a name to appear on the leaderboard, and use the share button for a card you can post. Then play again. Everyone plays again.
